On June 8, 2026, at the initiative of the Knights of Columbus operating in local councils in Stalowa Wola, the Icon of Our Lady of Częstochowa "From Ocean to Ocean" arrived at the John Paul II parish.
After a ceremonial welcome, the icon led the procession, and then the image was placed in the church next to the historic altar from the papal pilgrimage.
On June 2, 1979, Saint John Paul II, as a pope pilgrim to his homeland, celebrated Holy Mass in Warsaw.
The icon will remain in the parish until June 14, when it will participate in the March for Life and Family.
